Welcome to our
Community Sailing Program
The Community Sailing Program is the most successful initiative within our charity. It was created to provide even more free of charge sailing for people with autism and their families/carers within their local communities. It is run over the summer months using our own Impala 28 yachts. We run these sessions across our two main locations which are Helensburgh from Rhu Marina and Cowes, IOW from Cowes Yacht Haven. To date the program has welcomed over 200 people with autism out on the water.

How does it work?

Programs are not structured or planned like a general sailing lesson. We aren't a school - we simply want to provide sailing for families with autism of all ages. Our team are qualified and experienced sailors who are friendly, understanding and fun! Sessions typically start at 6:30pm until 8pm depending on time of sunset. Slots are allocated on a First Come/First Served basis through our WhatsApp group which you can join above and we highly recommend that you watch this group as that is where we post all of the information.
Cost?
What cost? ITS FREE!! Yes all our community sails are free of charge! However if you wish to make a non-obligatory donation no matter how big or small, it would be massively appreciated and it goes straight back into the Community Sailing pot.
